Grand Admiral Thrawn is definitely proof that a clever strategy can win a battle just as well as a soldier using a blaster or a jedi with their lightsaber.

Thrawn is one of my top favorite star wars characters. A brilliant tactician and strategist...and a pretty fair man too. Cause unlike certain imperials (cough cough vader), he doesnt kill off his men unless they REALLY fail. He might even promote you if you show enough promise and skill ;D
